Call for Applications: Lee Campbell Poultry & Egg Educational Foundation Internship Program
The Lee Campbell Poultry & Egg Educational Foundation will assist in sponsoring a qualified student for up to ten weeks of work experience as part of an internship program for summer 2011. The intern selected will have the opportunity to be employed at a major poultry company. This unique opportunity provides both a learning and earning experience.

Call for Applications: FDRS 2011 Applebaum Memorial Scholarship Award
The Food Distribution Research Society is accept applications for this award, which is awarded annually for outstanding student research in the area of food distribution and marketing. Broadly defined, food distribution and marketing encompasses all economic functions that occur between the farm gate and final consumer. The competition is open to all graduate students with scholarly interest and career aspirations in the food distribution system that have completed the degree in 2010 or before June 2011. The award includes cash stipends for the winners. Application materials must be submitted by June 1, 2011.

Call for Papers: NC-1177 Agricultural and Rural Finance Markets in Transition
The 2011 annual meeting of NC-1177 Agricultural and Rural Finance Markets in Transition will be held October 3-4, 2011 in Denver, CO. The meeting will be held at the Denver branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. The NC-1177 executive committee is currently seeking contributed papers for the selected paper sessions in the area of agricultural and rural finance markets. The deadline for contributed papers is June 10, 2011.
