Agriculture and Economic Development
Rehovot, Israel, June 18-19, 2020ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS
The Department of Environmental Economics and Management of the Hebrew University and the Center for Agricultural Economic Research will host an international workshop on "Agriculture and Economic Development" in memory of Professor Yair Mundlak. The workshop will take place on the campus of the Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment in Rehovot, Israel, during June 18-19, 2020.
Keynote Speaker: Dean Karlan, Northwestern University.
The program of the workshop will include both invited and contributed presentations. We solicit cutting-edge papers in the broad area of the theme of the workshop, including the Economics of Food, Agriculture, Development, Natural Resources and the Environment.
Those interested in presenting a paper at this workshop should submit an extended abstract or a complete paper, and include the name, position, and affiliation of the proposed presenter, to mundlak.workshop@gmail.com, before March 31, 2020. Preference will be given to those submitting complete papers.
There is no registration fee for presenters, but participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements. Information on local accommodations will be provided.
