As we look ahead to the 2015 AAEA & WAEA Joint Annual
Meeting in San Francisco, the SS-AAEA leadership is busy preparing competitions
and professional development opportunities for the undergraduates. As always,
your involvement beyond what you do with your SS-AAEA chapter at your
institution is vital to our success. In particular, I am seeking volunteers to
help judge the Paper Competition and the new Earl O. Heady Decision Sciences
Spreadsheet Competition. For both competitions, there will be two sets of
judges. One set of judges will evaluate student projects prior to the Annual
Meeting. Another set of judges will evaluate presentations at the Annual
Meeting. If you are interested in judging, please indicate your preferences:
- Judge Paper Competition entries prior to the Annual Meeting
- Judge Paper Competition presentations at the Annual Meeting
- Judge Spreadsheet Competition entries prior to the Annual Meeting
- Judge Spreadsheet Competition presentations at the Annual Meeting
The presentations for both the Paper and Spreadsheet
Competitions will take place on Sunday, July 26, 2015. The Spreadsheet
Competition presentations will be held between 12 and 2 PM, whereas the
Paper Competition presentations will be held between 3 and 5:30 PM.
