Call for Proposals: National Conference on Science, Policy and the Environment

The National Conference on Science, Policy and the Environment is now accepting session proposals for its 12th national conference. The conference will take place on January 18-20, 2012 in Washington, DC and will focus on the topic "Environment and Security". Session proposals are due by June 27, 2011.

The content of the conference will focus on five interconnected themes:

• climate disruption and security
• food security
• energy security
• access to water and natural resources
• environment and public health security
