Recently, AAEA has been working on a way to connect its members with funding agencies that provide grants supporting research. That work has resulted in the Grants Center at the upcoming Joint Annual Meeting in Denver. The Grants Center will allow meeting attendees to meet with representatives from various funding agencies for free.
The Grants Center will be located inside the Poster Hall at the 2010 AAEA, CAES, & WAEA Joint Annual Meeting. You can stop by and chat with representatives about their funding programs and grant opportunities during the Poster presentation sessions on Monday and Tuesday from 3:00–4:00 pm.
Particpating institutions include USDA-National Institute of Food and Agriculture, USDA-Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, USDA-Agricultural Marketing Service, and the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program.
