Economists Predict Uncertainty for Ag Economy

That’s what Jennifer Ifft, assistant professor of ag economics at Cornell, predicted for 2017 at this year’s Agricultural and Food Business Outlook conference at Cornell. Several speakers talked about the economic outlook for agriculture in New York as well as potential effects of trade reform and regulations by the Trump administration. Ifft said dairy farm income in New York is at its lowest level in 10 years. |
