IREX: 2014 Yegor Gaidar Fellowship Program

IREX is currently accepting applications for the 2014 Yegor Gaidar Fellowship Program in Economics. The application deadline is January 31, 2014.
The Yegor Gaidar Fellowship Program in Economics will provide senior-level American economists, academics, analysts, and legal experts with an opportunity to travel to Russia for a minimum of three weeks to a maximum of two months. Selected fellows will conduct research with a Russian counterpart that contributes to developing Russian capacities in entrepreneurship, economic diversification, technological innovation or the internationalization of its economy. Gaidar Fellows are provided with a work visa, round-trip transportation, housing, a monthly allowance, research support and a variety of opportunities to publicize and promote their findings.
Eligibility
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident;
Must have extensive professional experience in the proposed area of research with a minimum of five years and a strong publication record;
Must demonstrate commitment to the economic development of Russia through the practical application of research findings;
Must show potential for developing long-term linkages between U.S. and Russian institutions
