C-FARE Invites Students to Summer Intern Briefings

C-FARE is inviting students with an interest in economics who are interning in Washington, DC this summer to participate in the Summer 2011 Intern Briefings, which will focus on careers with Capitol Hill, agencies, and non-governmental organizations. Co-sponsored by the USDA Economist Group these events will take place on four days throughout June and July.

These briefings are designed to allow students to hear from professionals who have received a degree in agricultural, natural resources, or applied economics about their career paths and receive insight on potential classes to take, and other details regarding the necessary background to succeed in Washington, DC.

Students can RSVP for the briefings by forwarding their name, university, major, year, e-mail address, and organization for which they are interning to the C-FARE Business Office at info@cfare.org with the subject “intern event” or by calling (202) 408-8522. C-FARE will e-mail details regarding the events as the dates approach.

Below is the schedule for these briefings. Other tours of locations and events will be scheduled and communicated to students who provide their contact information.
