Webinar Based on Choices Magazine Water Issues Articles to Take Place Next Week

A new webinar discussing the environmental and social tradeoffs associated with the issues surrounding water will be held next Thursday, December 2, from 2:00 pm–3:30 pm EST. The webinar is based on a theme in the most recent issue of Choices and is sponsored by C-FARE, USDA- Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Farm Foundation.

To register, email Info@cfare.org with the subject “Water Webinar” by Tuesday, November 30. Registration is free but space is limited.

NIFA Hosts Webinar Thursday on Rural Entrepreneurship

A new webinar on rural entrepeneurship is being hosted by the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI) program of the USDA-NIFA. The webinar is free and you don't need to register ahead of time to attend. However, space is limited, so be sure to login early. How to Submit an Abstract for the 2011 Joint Annual Meeting

Interested in presenting your research in 2011? AAEA is now accepting submissions that will be considered for presentation at the 2011 AAEA & NAREA Joint Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh, July 24–26, 2011. You can submit research in several different forms:

• Invited Paper Sessions
  Due December 6, 2010
• Track Sessions
  Due December 6, 2010
• Pre- and Post-conference Workshops
  Due December 6, 2010
• Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Case Study Invited Paper Sessions
  Due January 17, 2011
• Organized Symposia
  Due January 17, 2011
• Selected Presentations
  Due January 17, 2011

In order to submit to the 2011 Joint Annual Meeting, you’ll need to be a 2011 AAEA member, or pay a non-refundable $25 submission fee. Once you have met either one of these requirements, you can submit through the My Account section.
