Discrete Choice Experiments and Data Analysis



Summer School July 24-28, 2017

The International Summer School on “Discrete Choice Experiments and Data Analysis: Theory and Applications from Introductory to Advanced Models with Case Studies” will cover the theoretical and empirical foundations behind diverse choice experiment designs and random utility models. The practical component of the course will be based on recent software developments in model estimation and experimental design (Nlogit, Ngene, and R). The course is open to academics, graduate students at different levels (MSc, MPhil, PG-diploma, and PhD), consultants, and other practitioners. Instructors include Riccardo Scarpa (Durham U. and U. Verona), John Rose and Matthew Beck (U. Sydney), Rodolfo M. Nayga Jr. (U. Arkansas), and Petr Mariel (U. Basque Country UPV/EHU).

The International Summer School will take place July 24th-28th, 2017 in the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan (USA). The deadline for discounted applications is April 30th.
