C-FARE is inviting students with an interest in economics who are interning in Washington, DC this summer to participate in the Summer 2011 Intern Briefings, which will focus on careers with Capitol Hill, agencies, and non-governmental organizations. Co-sponsored by the USDA Economist Group these events will take place on four days throughout June and July.

Call for Proposals: National Conference on Science, Policy and the Environment
The National Conference on Science, Policy and the Environment is now accepting session proposals for its 12th national conference. The conference will take place on January 18-20, 2012 in Washington, DC and will focus on the topic "Environment and Security". Session proposals are due by June 27, 2011.
